Our Adventure Rides are designed specifically for beginners and those trying horseback riding as a one-off experience. • Introductory Pony Riding Session: Get ready to learn the basics of horseback riding! You’ll practice steering, stopping, and even experience a bumpy trot or a scenic trek. Our friendly instructors will guide you every step of the way.
• Christmas themed Horseback Games: Get ready for some competitive fun with exciting pony games that are perfect for all ages!
• Introduction to Grooming: Finish your adventure by learning how to groom your pony or horse. This hands-on experience is a lovely way to thank your pony before they go to bed.

Our Pony Pals session is the farm adventure ideal for toddlers, nervous little ones and first time farm visitors – just minutes from Coleraine, Portrush & Derry/Londonderry!

🐴 Meet & Feed the Animals – Get up close with our gentle ponies, friendly horses, fluffy sheep, and playful goats.

👩‍🌾 Hands-On Farm Fun – Little farmers can brush ponies, tidy the stables, and hop into a fun wheelbarrow ride to visit ponies in their paddock.

🌟 A Special Pony Moment – Enjoy grooming, leading, and a short, safe pony walk—perfect for building confidence!

What to Expect

• Get to Know Your Horse: Your adventure begins at Crindle Stables with a session to familiarize yourself with your horse. Beginners will learn the basics of stopping, steering, and trotting to build confidence before heading to the beach.
• Scenic Coastal Ride: After your introductory session, riders will drive to Benone Beach, following a convoy of horse trailers. Enjoy a leisurely ride along the seven-mile beach, taking in magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean, golden sands, rolling dunes, and dramatic cliffs.
• Mixed Ability Groups: Our beach rides cater to all skill levels. Friendly instructors ensure you feel comfortable and safe throughout your journey, allowing everyone to enjoy the beauty of horseback riding along the coast.
• Iconic Landmarks: As you ride, marvel at Mussenden Temple, one of Northern Ireland’s most photographed sites, adding a touch of history to your adventure.
