NEW Toddler Session

Perfect for toddlers, young children, and absolute beginners who might be a little nervous

Our brand-new Toddler Sessionn is the perfect way to gently introduce children — and nervous first-timers of any age — to the world of ponies. Ideal for toddlers, young children, beginners, and those with SEN or autism, these sessions are calm, supportive, and confidence-building.

Each relaxed 30-minute class combines a short pony ride with fun, hands-on activities. Every week is different — so children will always have something new to try. Some examples of what we may do include:

A 15 – 20 minute pony ride to build confidence, balance, and coordination
Grooming and brushing their pony
Leading their pony around the arena
Helping with simple, farm-style stable tasks
Fun pony-themed games and challenges 🎉

☀️ On sunny days we may head outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and nature.
🌧 On rainy days we’ll be cosy indoors with safe, engaging activities.

We also encourage parents and caregivers to get involved, making it an interactive, shared experience for the whole family.

Beginner Riding Lessons

Our Beginner Riding Lessons are the perfect starting point for anyone wanting to learn to ride or try horse riding for the first time.

These 30-minute lessons are ideal for complete beginners, first-time riders and children who would like to start horse riding on either a weekly basis or as a one-off taster session.

Riders will learn the basics of horse riding, including stopping, steering, balance and control, while building confidence around our friendly ponies.

Horse riding is about much more than just being in the saddle. It helps children develop confidence, coordination, balance, listening skills and a sense of responsibility, all while having fun and learning something new.

Our instructors work with each rider at their own pace, helping them build confidence and enjoy their first steps into horse riding.

Suitable for complete beginners and first-time riders.

Duration: 30 minutes

No minimum age requirement. Riders will be matched with a suitable pony and lesson to suit their age, confidence and experience.

All riders MUST be lead using a lead rope

Follow the Leader: Learning to ride independently class

Duration: 30 minute session | £26 per session

Our Follow the Leader class is the next step for children who are ready to move on from our beginner lead-rein lessons and start riding more independently.

This class is designed for riders who can already walk, trot, stop and steer independently, and are ready to build more confidence in their trot work.

Riders will ride behind one of our more confident riders, helping them get used to riding in a group, keeping rhythm, improving their balance and developing their skills in trot.

The aim of this class is to help children become more confident, independent riders while still having that little bit of guidance and support in front of them.

Children in this class will also get used to riding a variety of different ponies, helping them become more adaptable and confident rather than relying on one familiar pony.
