BRIDLE Sensory & Autism-Friendly Sessions
BRIDLE (Bringing Riding Into Disabled Lives Equally) has been part of Crindle Stables since 2012, providing horse-related activities and riding opportunities in an inclusive, welcoming and supportive environment.
These sessions are open to everyone and are designed to be inclusive for families, siblings and individuals with additional needs, including autism, sensory processing needs and learning disabilities.
Whether it’s brothers and sisters enjoying an activity together, a parent and child taking part, or an individual wanting a quieter, more relaxed horse experience, these sessions are all about fun and giving everyone the chance to enjoy horse riding and time with the ponies.
Activities may include pony rides, grooming, sensory-based horse activities, meeting and interacting with the ponies, and spending time in a calm outdoor environment.
Our sessions are welcoming, flexible and pressure-free, allowing each person to engage at their own pace and in a way that suits them.

Canice and I took our 2 boys to Crindle stables this afternoon for a surprise birthday experience. Hazel, Trevor, Amy, Adam and their amazing team made the experience fantastic. Fabulous experience!!
Our daughter absolutely loved it – she is only 20 months and the team took their time to introduce her to lots of ponies and horses first, then showed her other children wearing their helmets so that she wasn’t scared by the time it was her time to ride the pony. They did lots of different exercises and built up their confidence. A great experience and we would definitely do regular lessons if we lived in the area. Thanks very much!

Took my two granddaughters..Ella and Katie to Crindle Stables for a Christmas treat….they had an hour of fun… Amy and Hannah are just the loveliest of girls so friendly and great with the wee ones.They will definitely be back again. This is one of the most friendly stables I have been too. Its relaxed , friendly, homely and so welcoming . we had a mini lesson before a trek and after there was no rush to get us away , we were allowed to groom the horses , see the other horses and ponies in the stables and spend as much time as we needed . The staff are so attentive, patient, non judgemental and know when to laugh with you and not at you … all in all we had a magical time and would highly recommend it …
