NEW toddler sessions learn through fun around ponies
Our Toddler Pony Sessions are designed for children aged 1–6 years and are a lovely first introduction to horses and ponies.
They’re a great activity for families with toddlers and young children, especially little ones who have never been around horses before. The sessions are gentle, fun and all about helping children build confidence, enjoy the outdoors and get used to being around ponies in a relaxed way.
Each 30-minute session begins with a hands-on pony activity, which may include grooming, leading, feeding treats or trying out simple stable jobs. This gives children time to explore, learn through play and get comfortable around the ponies before riding.
Children will then enjoy a 15–20 minute pony ride, taking part in games, music and sensory-based fun while learning simple riding skills such as stopping and steering.
These sessions are perfect for anyone looking for toddler activities, preschool activities or fun things to do with young children during the summer holidays.

Fabulous experience!!
Our daughter absolutely loved it – she is only 20 months and the team took their time to introduce her to lots of ponies and horses first, then showed her other children wearing their helmets so that she wasn’t scared by the time it was her time to ride the pony. They did lots of different exercises and built up their confidence. A great experience and we would definitely do regular lessons if we lived in the area. Thanks very much!

Took my 7 year old & 3 year old for the todder/kid session and it was a fantastic experience! I was worried my kids would be nervous as they’ve never been horseriding before but the ponies were so calm the kids jumped straight on and had a ball! Lovely staff and arena. We also got to pet the many horses in the stalls. Really magical memories made ✨️

This is one of the most friendly stables I have been too. Its relaxed , friendly, homely and so welcoming . we had a mini lesson before a trek and after there was no rush to get us away , we were allowed to groom the horses , see the other horses and ponies in the stables and spend as much time as we needed . The staff are so attentive, patient, non judgemental and know when to laugh with you and not at you … all in all we had a magical time and would highly recommend it …

Took my two granddaughters..Ella and Katie to Crindle Stables for a Christmas treat….they had an hour of fun… Amy and Hannah are just the loveliest of girls so friendly and great with the wee ones.They will definitely be back again. And a shout out to Sophie who we got talking to with a world of information..Thank you girls we had a fun time. xx
